I personally don’t make resolutions because I don’t remember what I said or else I won’t keep them. What about y’all?

#1

appreciate the people who love me and all I have, which is a life of luxury compared to so many

#2

No resolutions. No promises to myself or others. Just maintain. That's enough.

Make more time for my nan, she has dementia and I was never around for her before. Now I try to be at every event. just trying to get those good memories before she's gone

Do cardio 5 times a week and go for a run once a week
Last year it was so cardio 3 times a week and run once a week

Smile more. Laugh when I feel frustrated. Talk to myself with the same respect I talk to my friends.

to do what is *best* for me. I'm still trying to figure out how to manage my newfound anxiety disorder and i find that I'll often spend too much time angry with myself over doing or not doing something. sometimes skipping stuff just because something might go wrong isn't the best move and it might actually help to go to things and be with people. not all the time, though, which is why mine isn't 'go be social more'. just trying to find the perfect balance of what works for me
also, 10 minutes of movement a day. any kind of physical activity.

Shop locally wherever possible (no supermarkets)
Only buy things in plastic when absolutely necessary
Buy second hand when possible
If I do shop at the supermarket, buy something for the food bank
Always carry change for homeless people
Eat mostly vegetarian (1 non-veg meal per week)
Take good care of my body (vitamins/supplements, work out every day I can, eat well (fewer takeaways, more home cooked meals), get enough sleep, daily skin care, lots of water, less alcohol)

I make the same resolution every year - to do or learn something new. For 2022 it was learning te reo Maori (the Maori language).

#12

Pacing myself, setting priorities, and putting my health first. Pretty much the opposite of any resolution I've ever made.

I know it sounds like its stolen from The Princess Bride but following my grandfather's lead, I resolve not to start any wars in Asia. My family has an almost 100 year stint of never breaking it.

Survive. That and actually keep on top of learning new languages

Save more money to give more to Ukraine. It’s not getting any easier over there.

My most important retaliation is to keep breathing and my other one is to continue crocheting because it's fun but I always start different things (cross stitch, needle point, bracelets(string), bracelets (beads), personal book marks) and stop after a certain amount of time.

Finish a coding course and get into tech. That way I can finally afford a place of my own.
