Hey Pandas, What Are Your Optimistic Predictions For 2025?

I'm trying to be optimistic that this is the year I get control of my body. It's a plan I make every year and fail every year.

My body has been through a lot - cancer twice - and I owe it so much for sticking with me and surviving.

But it needs to be looked after now. It needs to stop being abused by food and my mental state. It deserves a break and a healthy new mindset.

I hope I don't write this same thing next year, or before it's too late.

Obesity is a horrible, all-consuming mental illness. For those of you that say "stop eating so much" or "eat healthy".... it's not that easy when your mind is your biggest enemy. Have some compassion, and pray you never know what it's like.

More people will turn to traditional skills to attain as much self-sufficiency as possible. Gardening, canning, farming, carpentry, sewing etc... Can't afford a house on my salary, I'll learn to build my own!

The Republicans finally see what the new power couple of Trump and Musk for what they really are and rebel against Trump.

We no longer hope for better worlds. I no longer have any optimism.

I predict we will gain some very interesting scientific knowledge from the Parker Solar Probe in 2025. For those who do not know, this probe just got it's first taste of our sun's corona on Dec.24th.

That Bored Panda deletes their stupid "premium" subscription, or everybody switches to Reddit or something funny... r/unexpectedchaos delivers far better content than this shithole. I think that people will fight back against mass consumerism and buy less things

There are no positive predictions for 2025-2029. The American majority has made this country catastrophic. If you are Black, Jewish, Gay, an immigrant (which was welcomed with that "Statue of Liberty" ...liberty which no longer exists...or any minority...poor or smart...you are f'cked.

I think more people are seeing not only the benefit of eating a fully plant based diet, but actually becoming a true vegan and avoiding the mass cruelty that is rampant . I think eyes are finally ( slowly) opening.❤️🤞🏻

after the 8+ yrs in which it seems some people have become empowered to show a more negative side of themselves i am hoping that they will realize that such behavior, words, and thoughts are more destructive to themselves than those that they target. and, i don't mean just the republicans/maga or democrats/liberal/progressives as there has been actions from all sides that have been been harmful - that means both active and passive action, by the way. while i know that some will disagree with me i do believe that the majority of people have a good side to themselves and it is often hidden due to personal experiences because they don't want to be vulnerable again. with the current climate of division, we all need to be more courageous to come out of our shells and stick our foot on the algae regardless of how our so-called leaders want to turn the tide against us as citizens.

My prediction is that I will be able to put away a little money each year so I can buy a house in 5 year's time. I need to put together a $100K down payment, and I have worked out the math to make it happen, but I need to avoid HUGE new expenses.

I think God is gonna make 2025 very special.
