In two weeks my class is going to DC on a field trip! It's only for two days, but the one I was supposed to do a while ago (with my class then) got canceled because of COVID. After that we get TWO WEEKS off for spring break, and I cannot wait to just exist without having homework.

Just found out The Dropkick Murphys, one of my favorite bands, recorded a second album based on Woody Guthrie's lyrics. The first was was awesome and the second comes out soon. I pre-ordered the cd and vinyl.

Getting 2nd Trimester Finals over with and moving on to the 3rd Tri. All my classes are required (no fun electives) but at least I have each class with a friend :) Can't wait for summer

Had a granddaughter born Dec 23rd. Finally got the sign I made 1.5 years ago when grandson was born and am adding her name! Also found out son & DIL are naming hubby and I their guardians! She doesn't want her grandmother to take them (bad blood recently) & her dad passed 5 months ago.

My birthday is on tuesday! I'm not excited about being a year older, but I am excited for presents! My brother is getting me t-shirts from some bands I like, and some of my relatives are sending me money to get doc martens with roses on them!

I'm starting ballet again and I'm so excited. I did ballet from when I had just turned 3 years old until right before the beginning of 6th grade (that was the first full year of covid, and I would need to do zoom classes). I'm over half way through 8th grade, and I just had my first lesson back :D. I can't wait for the recital. The studio theme is Disney and my class is doing a Pirates of the Caribbean inspired dance. We got only a few counts done but I'm so excited. Also, me and my mom are going to a pottery thing together tomorrow without my siblings. I love being away from them.
