French horns should really just be called "horns", as per the International Horn Society and in terms of historical context.

Before reaching the voice box, the controlling nerves loop beneath and around the aorta. This is a leftover from when we were fish and the voice box was our gills. A nerve run straight from the brain to the gills would slip through the loop easily, since it didn't have to travel back up.
A bit weird, but okay. But this is true of all things descended from fish.
Consider, if you will... the giraffe.

This one is very creepy, so you might want to skip it.
You are more likely to find a dead body under your bed than in your garage.

yellow light is made when green and red light mix, and since there aren't any unique yellow rays, just green and red waves mixed, yellow isn't a color

Of all the pokemon in existence, the one that the Pokemon company pays the least attention to is the Paras line. It only has 2 merch items, a couple of significant events, and the least appearances in the games. For example, Pikachu and Eevee have their own games and get added to (new forms/evolutions) every now and then, but the Paras line doesn't.

Mercedes-Benz is named for Mercédès Jellinek. She was the beautiful 16 year-old daughter of wealthy Venture Financier Emile Jellinek. Emile Jellinek offered to fund Karl Benz's automobile factory under the condition that the car is named her. This leads to a huge irony - the Nazi's parade-car of choice was named as an indulgence for a Jewish Princess.
