American Pie by Don McLean. It always has everyone singing! Even if you know the true meanings behind his lyrics, you can apply them to almost any time in American history and they'd still be relevant. And, sad. We need a new pie.

I can’t pick one favourite song so here are some I’d be able to listen to nonstop for a long plane flight:
Red Wine Supernova- Chappell Roan
Rhinestone Eyes- Gorillaz
The Bidding- Tally Hall
Lotta True Crime- Penelope Scott
Verbatim- Mother Mother
Arms Tonite- Mother Mother
Bang!- AJR

Any song from The Maybe Man by AJR
BITE ME (feat. Zephyrianna)- AJ DiSpirito
Basics In Behaviour (feat. Or3o)- The Living Tombstone
I should probably stop now as tbis is getting long

If I had to pick one singular song from every genre I listen to, I would choose Cleopatra by the Lumineers, specifically the acoustic demo version. This song has been with me since I was very young, and for some reason, I couldn't stop listening to it. Recently, I decided to research more into it, and found out that the tragic story told about a taxi driver named Cleopatra is actually a true one, and that this song was written about her life. The story is anything but happy, and knowing it is a true one makes it even more impactful. I listen to it every day and it reminds me to take chances in my life because you may end up regretting it your entire life if you don't.

Plowed by Sponge. Even now there is just something about it. If I need a pick-me-up energy boost or just an Up, it's my go-to.

My favorite song for the past couple years is Einstein on the Beach (For an Eggman) by Counting Crows, but recently he's been dethroned by The Legend of Chavo Guerrero by The Mountain Goats. Honestly, anything John Darnielle is a go-to.
