After seeing the clock flash 2:07 a.m. as she pushed her long, decaying nails through my chest and stifling my screams with her other hand, I suddenly woke up to realize it was a nightmare.
As I turned my head just enough to read 2:06 a.m. from my clock, my head spun in the direction of the closet as I heard the door creak open.
