Hey Pandas, Tell Us About One Of Your Writing Ideas (Closed)

I once won an award for in school for a short story I wrote and have been recently thinking about fleshing out into a real book.
A young woman named Leah gets thrown into a mental institute after her parents get violently murdered. While all the evidence points to her, she insists the "Shadow People" were to blame.
Wehn her little sister Anne tells her she's planning to move 8 hours away with their Uncle, Shelia becomes convinced it's the work of the shadows and with the help of her... slightly eccentric room mate, she concocts a plan to escape and save the only family she's got left.
But not everything is as it seems and as time goes on she begins to wonder what's truly real and what's just an illusion.
Are the Shadow People truly just a figment of her imagination? And if so, then what really happened to her parents that fateful night?

A small Town, a group of kids, sort of a Stranger things feel.

When supernatural things start happening around town, a group of kids who had just met get tangled up in it together. Another girl at school who seems to be connected to it gets involved, and they all start to see a pattern in the supernatural events. FULL of darkness and drama and creepyness.

Kind of a supernatural world, the main character is a witch, she meets a vampire and a Vaewolf (werewolf bitten by vampire) and the witch can use her magic to bring people back from the dead, so she is on the run because people think she’s too dangerous to be allowed to live. The Vaewolf is also being hunted for being to dangerous, it’s illegal to bite a werewolf and Vaewolf’s aren’t supposed to exist. 🐺 🧛🏻‍♀️ 🧙‍♀️ (lol the witch isn’t actually a grandma it’s just the emoji)

Also another story is about dragons, there are different elements and each dragon is born with an element, (fire, water, earth, or air) except a strange dragon is born with the power of shadows… 🔥 💧 🌍 💨🐲

I hope to eventually write a realistic fiction book about a transgender boy who is closeted and living in Texas.He wants to come out but is very nervous as his parents are devout conservatives.

So, I love fantasy, and I am a person who is very performance oriented; I sing in choir, I play in band, I'm aiming to join the theatre/drama club at high school next year. I've been thinking about a story about a magic based circus type group in the 18/1900s (my favourite time period hands down). I don't have a plot, I don't have characters, and it probably won't go anywhere but the idea is cool imo.

Okay okay okay SO currently I have a roleplay discord server in a future where a storm had taken over all of the world, and never quit, and nothing made sense anymore. One girl named Ann used her magic to create order, and in a bit of the world created a calm space, a space split into four countries, which are the four seasons. And my server members have taken this base lore and I am endlessly thankful for them and so happy to see where it all goes cause I really had no plot for like, a book. My story idea that’s just in my brain, is the world is basically a giant tree. The higher up you go, the braver the people there usually are. Rumor has it at the very top there is a treasure, but no one has ever returned. A boy born at the very bottom branches, who has a heart for adventure, somehow convinced his very timid friend and her mom to let the friend travel to the top with him... at the top, there’s basically something telling you to jump into the void. Through that void is the real world. Many holes so far, but I’m figuring it out!! (Also I’ve noticed all these story / oc posts are made by you. Thank you, they’re great fun)

I wrote a 11 page story on this sort of thing.

It was about a girl, who was given a medicine in order to cure her but there were drawbacks. She ended up signing with the government for special missions due to her new ability to manipulate molecules at will. Her commander became her partner and trainer.

I know i know. Very much a marvel feel. But it was fun to write

Basic- future technology, the main character gets frozen as an experiment then wakes up 2,000 years later and everything is very different. they intended to be frozen for only two weeks . Religion has formed around the “kid in the pod” and when they wake up it’s like the apocalypse or something for the people who based a religion around this

A boy who has this strange power where whatever he imagines gets put into reality.

He discovers his ability when his mind wanders off in class and he starts daydreaming and then suddenly his teacher grows a multi-colored beard. Along his journey he learns how to control his ability, but it takes a while and along the way his extraordinary imagination makes a lot of odd and troublesome things.

I’m thinking about pitching a show to adult swim but I do t want to say what it’s about cuz u can’t copyright ideas and someone may take it.

a girl whose best friend has been a figment of her imagination for her entire life after trauma prompted her to create them. upon discovering they aren't real, she has to face getting over everything that's happened.

ok, so a book, where the main character slowly falls in love with the reader, or one about how amazing words can be. just the fact that you can describe something, and no two people will imagine the same thing! that sort of thing. you could probably merge these ideas too.

One that I've been thinking about, but haven't actually written yet, is making very short horror stories about common animation characters (i.e., Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, etc.)

So I'm a big fan of urban legends; mainly Japanese/Chinese cause they are perfectly scary. However I also love the idea of Slender Man. I watched the movie, gone down rabbit holes, read short stories, and watched videos. Gosh I know so much it is not good for me, lol.
Anyway I want to write a book about these teens who mess around and find out. The main character is 16 year old, Emmeline Colton (Em for short). She will go through many tests to save her four friends from the hands of Slender Man. Even possibly going face to face with him. The question is "Will she and her friends make it?".
