A lot happens in a hotel room over time: people argue, people partying and some even die in the bed where the next guest sleeps.
Tell us about your funny, strange, disgusting or unbelievable experiences that you saw or had in a hotel.

I brought a stuffed bear with me to Hawaii. It must have gotten lost in the bed covers overnight. Next morning we went out to do various touristy things. When I got back it was gone. I was so upset. The hotel let me go down to the laundry room (which is HUGE) at those mega resorts to look for it with housekeeping staff. We found it, my life went on, and they were all super cool with the fact that I was 22 and had lost my teddy bear.

I used to work at a fancy resort where a couple had a domestic spat and caused twenty five thousand dollars worth of damage. Also at the same place a couple wanted someone to shoe off bats in trees outside there room every time they entered and exited.

I grew up living in motels. A different one almost every night. People doing drugs. Fighting. F*cking. Knocking on random doors and trying to come in and watch tv. Best memory? Age 5. Playing in a sandbox outside alone across from the room. Found a “worm”. Then found a whole bunch! Even took my fave wormie inside to show my grandmother. Fire trucks and ambulances converged. 200 rattlesnake babies in the sandbox. I held my wormie until they (carefully) took him away. I cried and then got a free ice cream cone! Lucky I didn’t get bitten! My grandmother got a puppy after that. I hated that chihuahua so damn much.
