I recently came out to my uncles as nonbinary and they asked me what term to use instead of niece, I'm not sure what to answer with, any ideas?

Google says that it is "nibling",
I also came up with "niphew" on my own.

First of all, congrats! Second, nibling is the term most people use, but if you want a funny one, I would propose "chaos gremlin" or "gene thief" as suggestions.

I've thought about this too. English has gender neutral pronouns for almost all relationships, but not niece/nephew or aunt/uncle. Do you feel like you identify more strongly or more frequently with one over the other? Maybe they could use that pronoun until you find something different. Or they could just say "my brother's/sister's kid"; it's clunky, but it describes the relationship. And they'd only have to use it once or twice and simply refer to you by name or preferred pronouns after that.

Aww I'm happy that they seem to be open/accepting!

I wonder what events shall occur on this post? perhaps a small amount of trolling may occur, but only time shall tell

No such thing as non-binary. It’s an attention seeking fad. You’re a female, you will always be a female. Here are some words that describe a female-mother, daughter, sister, wife, niece, lady, aunt, girl
