I am in the lucky position to have actually experienced this. I was arrested outside my family home (it was mistaken identity).
My mum confessed that she'd thought I'd "finally killed someone".
My Dad and 2 of my sisters thought it was most likely vandalism, or drunken antics.
My other sister thought I'd beaten-up her ex for calling her a sl*t aroung town.
