If you catch them looking at you a lot.
If they compliment you randomly.
Also, if they sit close to you by choice. If they keep moving closer to you. Honestly, for me it's uncomfortable when someone keeps moving closer. A few years ago, two of my classmates liked me and they would both come to my table and keep moving their chair closer to me. By the end of class, I was like sandwiches between them and it was super weird.
This is gonna sound weird but once someone liked me and they pretended that they didn't know how to do the assignment because he knew I would help him and that was how he got me to talk to him.
