I work at a farm milking cows and when I work it’s me and one other person. I used to love working with him but lately he has been really cranky (he is 20). When something small happens, like a cow won’t listen, he gets ragging mad. It’s kind of a weird situation because he is the owners son. I have worked there for a year now and I have been super nice to him. I just don’t know what to do.

Has he been cranky in general or just to you? I would carefully ask him privately if he's okay or if something happened that caused a change in his behavior. If he blows you off, give him some space, let him know you're there if he wants to talk, and you go about your work.
