Hey, Pandas, How Do I Get Over Someone?

It takes time. Getting over anything is a process with various stages along the way. One day you will no longer feel the yearning that you feel now. It will pass. Remember every cloud has a silver lining

You can use a ladder, or stairs, a step-stool, milk crate. Be creative because whoever said it takes time is right.

What I do is I make a playlist about my sadness, then I draw something about my sadness while listening to that playlist. I write poems or make journal entries about it. Talk to a friend about it. Anything to pour those emotions out of my body and into the world somewhere.
I also find that keeping focused on something (take up a hobby, delve into your schoolwork or work work) and/or taking the time to try and work on yourself (mental/physical health and self-care and stuff)

A little bit ago i had a very similar situation, I liked this one girl a lot and just couldn’t get over her. I had no chance for multiple reasons and i knew she didn’t like me back. What helped me start to move on was just straight up telling her how i felt because that cleared up any what ifs that may have been keeping me liking her.

I really liked a boy in my class, but he liked someone else who already had a boyfriend. He was a nice person, always polite to me, but just didn’t feel that way. It eventually faded for me after I’d left school. I met him 30 years later, I didn’t recognise him, he spoke to me, and…. Nothing. Just a fond memory. Time does heal.
