If you want to get better at drawing people, there is a website called line of action that shows models in poses so you can practice. It worked for me

Drawing is a skill. It takes a lot of practice. One exercise I had to do in art class was to draw the same thing every day at the beginning of class. At the end of class we took the first drawing and had to compare it to the first drawing and talk about where we improved.
