Hey Pandas, Have You Ever Had A Wish Come True?

I don't know if this counts but, as a kid, I always dreamed of following a certain hard-to-obtain career path. I didn't have to study for it or anything, but I eventually landed that dream job as an adult. Turned out to be a huge pile of steaming... anyway, the moral of this story is; don't trust your younger self with big decisions.

Also, there is a (whacky, in my opinion, but who am I to judge?) theory that if you wish for something hard enough, then the universe will provide it. For instance, if you really want a new bike or car or something, you just need to imagine owning it, over and over again, like a mantra. And then one day, *poof!* the stars align and the opportunity presents itself.

I wished for a sky dancer and a lollypop holder that spins for my birthday when I was 6 and got both. Don't think I wished for anything since then.

Whenever I had the chance to wish (wells, stars, birthdays…etc) I wished for a dog, and in 2021, that wish came true! I have a Yorkiepoodle named Eevee and I love her! Thanks grandma!

I randomly heard of a competition on the radio, I entered the competition, thought "Wish I could win that, seems nice!" and 5 months later was announced the winner! I only bought the one ticket too! Now I get to buy a house mortgage free! :O

I was hoping that I'd be able to do more volunteering work this summer (it's a nature-based summer camp with young kids) and I just got confirmed for five weeks! I'm very excited

When I was younger I wished I would find the right person for me, and I thought it would never come true, but in May of last year I met my boyfriend. He is literally a dream come true for me.

I wished for a GI Joe submersible submarine for Christmas when I was around 7, and I got it.

I also wish that I would have the courage to leave my ex after 22 years of miserable marriage, and that also came through.

I lastly wished that my current wife would understand and accept me as I transition, and she's been fantastic.

I always wanted to know what it would be like to have a boyfriend from another country, like UK. I got my wish.

I wanted to work in retail (I like organizing things). I managed to land a position with plenty of organizing and minimal customer service.

Other than that, I don't wish for too much.

One time I wished that I could have a certain type of Italian cookie that we didn't get very often.

Guess what Dad brought home that afternoon without even knowing?
