I mean I still talk to myself. Well I call it “mind scripting” to where basically I play out movies in my mind? It’s really weird, but it’s enjoyable. Said movies I made myself in my mind.

YESSS!
I write "books" in my head now, but it used to be more individual imaginary friends when I was younger.
My first one was Roy Whires. He had a dragon named Roger (I was obsessed with the movie cowboy Roy Rogers🤣) and he wore metal boots. We used to go on adventures with his siblings Suzanna and Almanzo.
My siblings teased me about him, so I "killed" him when I was 5.
But don't tell anyone, because he's secretly still here. We do less dragon riding, but we like to star-gaze and run through pastures barefoot.

More lately I had an imaginary friend that helped me get through my depression. His name is Erik and he has a drinking problem but he's a solid shoulder to cry on.
I don't think my family would find the idea of him nearly as enduring as I do.😂
