So he proposed and then weeks later he dumped me and I WAS DISTRAUGHT. I was dropping off all his things and all the DVDs were his save 2 that were my Portishead and Radiohead in concert DVDs, the Radiohead one I wrote my name on the inside of the back cover. I was sad and I just chucked them all in the same place. I realized this and asked him to give them back. He said he would bring them back and drop them off. He never did so I asked again and he ghosted me. Mopey and sad I went to Music Trader a few days later to get myself a treat (this was 2002 for context) and there were my DVDs for sale behind the counter.... Best breakup medicine EVER!
