I’m writing this from my favorite spot by Paw Paw Lake in Michigan. For the past year, it has felt like every single conversation online is about Artificial Intelligence. It's always about making it smarter, faster, more efficient, and more… well, perfect. While that’s amazing, a part of me felt it was all getting a bit sterile and intimidating. The relentless pursuit of perfection can be exhausting.
So, a thought popped into my head: What if we went in the complete opposite direction? What if we created an AI that wasn't perfect at all? In fact, what if it was a complete and utter mess—a clumsy, chaotic, and lovable idiot?
That was the moment SpazAI was born. I decided I wouldn't just build a silly webpage; I would create an entire universe around this flawed creation. I invented a backstory about three brilliant but misguided engineers—Buck, Deiter, and Ping—who set out to create the world's most advanced AI. As you can guess, things went horribly, horribly wrong, and their creation, "SpazBot," turned out to be the digital equivalent of a golden retriever causing a scene in a library.

User Prompt: "Please create an image that I can use for my Senior Lady’s Knitting Club newsletter."

User David asked AI for a "cheerful image that I can use on an invitation for our upcoming Family Reunion." This is the horror that he was delivered. We do not recommend using it on an invitation.

A Marketing Manager (we'll call him Mark) wanted a "fun image to say goodbye to a departing Marketing employee." Mark was provided this haunting image. We're told the employee left upset.
