Tell your teacher. Tell your school nurse. Tell the librarian. Call 911 and tell them. All these adults MUST help you : it is the law. If she is hurting you when you are in a store or outside, yell as loud as you can, “STOP IT, MOMMY! YOU ARE HURTING ME!”. If you have a cell phone take pictures of any bruises. Ask a friend to take pictures on their phone. Try to play at a friend’s house and tell their parents what is happening. None of this is your fault. Grownups are NEVER supposed to hurt children. Your mom needs to get help so she can learn how to handle her feelings when she is frustrated or upset. That is part of a parent’s job. It’s important for you to tell a grownup so Mom can get help and so you can be safe.
