Hello dear Pandas, my name is Bryan Medina, I’ve been following this page posts for quite a while. I would like to have some feedback and if possible would like you to share my artwork, call it photography repainted, its heavily filtered photography on many subjects.
I’ve been struggling economically for quite a while, my home country Peru is a beautiful place but plagued with political corruption and social struggle. Most professional work is poorly paid, all my savings have been poured into a decent but outdated camera, and a good editing computer, but the pandemic hit deep and I have not been able to pay them in due time.
There is something in colour that drives me crazy, and knowing we only see a fraction of what there is as visible light makes me want to have more advanced vision like some animals and insects.
Probably one could say the same about many other ways to perceive the world that animals have developed, sounds beyond our comprehension, smell and taste, many, many times better than ours. We just get a glimpse of what there is to be perceived.
I’m an architect bachelor, I really like making 3d design and visualization, but it’s really expensive to have an adequate computer for this kind of work, and wages in my country are a joke, especially for anyone who tries to make some kind of honest art.
It’s one of my main goals to have my photos printed to be able to sell them at least to some of my friends in a near future; if it’s possible to sell them abroad Peru would be a dream.
There is something in inverted colour that gives a peculiar depth sensation to the images I edit.
I have a ton of unpublished photos.
I will publish more if you like them.
My mother tongue is Spanish by the way. Hola!
