And soon enough, he found the largest treasure ever found in Romania.

It is the largest find of silver coins ever found in Romania: 47 296 silver coins, most from the reign of Sultan Murad II (1421-1451), weighing more than 120 pounds.

The coins are in very good shape, due to high purity silver aloy (97 %) and the fact that they stayed burried in the soil for hundred of years.

As he says, in accordance with the Romanian law, everything older than 100 years by default belongs to the state and has to be entrusted to a museum in 72 hours.

However, the person that found the treasure has a right to 30% of its value, which is reduced to 25% after all the taxes.
