A friend of mine wanted a Pokeball Terrarium for his birthday! Being the craftsperson I am, I decided to take on this challenge.
I started by collecting the needed materials from a youtube tutorial, and tracking down the Pokemon he wanted! (It was a clefable!)
Once I had all of my supplies gathered, I tediously started work on what I thought was a beautiful creation!
I presented my friend with this gift at his birthday party, and to say he was very pleased would be an understatement.
He posted the Terrarium on social media, and soon I had numerous requests coming in to build more of these! And thus began the start of my business. A business that has grown exponentially and has provided me the chance to work from home and truly be an artist!
These Terrariums are available now on Etsy! I have since expanded from Pokemon to other fandoms! I enjoy building each terrarium by hand and making each one as unique as my customers are!!
On average, each terrarium takes anywhere from 4-12 hours to build depending on the difficulty of the terrain and the size of the terrarium and number of figures! (yes we happily put more than one character in the terrarium when asked! We love custom orders!)
To date we have made over 2,000 Terrariums!!!!!! And we hope that we can continue to build as long as fans want to have their very own unique piece of art!
