A self-portrait photo which focuses too much on the person may be too vain; it could still be quite vain if the person is at a distance in the photo (wide shot/full body) - as it may be a show off of the person being in a nice place - a touristic one, so on so forth. A wide shot of a person, which that the person vanishes, would you take it as art?
I would love to have this somewhat original idea of mine (vanishing act, vanishing art) to be exhibited in galleries in Kuala Lumpur for a start.
