Street art in Barcelona marks its beginning not that long ago. In the 1970s after the collapse of the Franco regime, Barcelona's street art scene officially started to appear. The restrictions were generally loose up until roughly 2002, which allowed Barcelona's street art scene to thrive.
Artist David Lozano took street art to another level by deciding to make amazing paintings over the walls of abandoned buildings and places. It almost is like giving another life and purpose to the places that used to be crowded with people a long time ago.
