Glen Powell grew up in Austin with supportive parents. Raised alongside two sisters by Glen Senior and Cyndy Powell, he developed a deep love for movie storytelling after watching Jurassic Park during his early childhood.

He attended Westwood High School while competing in athletics. Powell later studied at the University of Texas at Austin, balancing his coursework in film with early acting opportunities that laid the foundation for his screen career.

Over the past decade, Glen Powell has maintained several high-profile romantic relationships. He dated model Gigi Paris for three years before their split, and previously shared brief romances with Australian television host Renee Bargh and actress Nina Dobrev.

The actor has no children from any of his past relationships. He remains single in recent years while focusing heavily on his expanding acting career and writing projects across major film studios.

Glen Powell achieved major stardom with his role in Top Gun: Maverick. He followed that global blockbuster with lead roles in the box office smash Anyone but You and the hit disaster film Twisters, establishing his widespread commercial appeal.

Behind the camera, Powell co-wrote and produced the comedy Hit Man. He also co-created and starred in the comedy series Chad Powers while expanding his entrepreneurial footprint through the organic condiment brand Smash Kitchen.
