I visited these places a few years back. Khagrachari & Bandarban are hilly areas of Bangladesh. Now the question is, what is the main difference between other country's natural beauty and Bangladesh's? Well, in most countries one can find that there is a pattern, an order, regularity in their beauty which are shaped by human choice. Which are acquired. But in Bangladesh, where everything is unorthodoxy, anomaly, and independent. Everything remains as primitive and raw as nature wants it to be. There is nothing right & nothing wrong . I think this is the distinctive beauty of Bangladesh.
No, I am not a photographer. I think it is a huge tag to bear on. But, I am a big fan of landscape photography. So, I think its a baby step for me to showcase my amateur photography skill.

Pillar of Ashoka

The Golden Temple AKA The Buddha Dhatu Jadi is located close to Balaghata town, in Bandarban City, in Bangladesh. 'Dhatu' are the material remains of a holy person, and in this temple the relics belong to Buddha. It is the largest Theravada Buddhist temple in Bangladesh and has the second-largest Buddha statue in the country.

The Golden Temple

The temple is built on top of a 60 metres (200 ft) high hill. Approached by an elegant stairway, the impressive temple is decorated with exquisite sculptural images. Apart from the second-biggest statue of the Buddha that is enshrined in the sanctum, there are smaller statues and a golden bell set on a dragon within the temple precincts. The 'Dhatu' the corporeal relics of Buddha, has been enshrined here below four statues of Buddha. The 'Dhatu' is enshrined here, with the basic belief among Buddhists that it provides for peace of mind and happiness.

So Close, Yet So Far

Nilachol is one of the tallest peaks and a beautiful tourist spot in Bangladesh. It is about 3500 feet high and situated at Tigerpara.

Destination Unlimited

In the rainy season a spectacular scenery is created here, the whole spot is covered with the blanket of clouds. It is a nice place for campfire in the rainy season. The most attractive time of the day is dawn. It is better to stay during 7-18 dates of a lunar month to enjoy the moonlit night. You can also enjoy the artful course of Sangu River.

The Sky & Greens Will Keep Us Young

With the changes of time and season, it reflects various types of loveliness. The sunrise in the morning, the sunset in the evening, the solitude at night all will play with your mind.

Alutila Cave, also called Alutila Mysterious Cave is located in Matiranga in the hill district of Khagrachari. The cave formed inside the 1Km hill named Alutila. The hill area is surrounded by dense green tropical forest.

The Drowsy Dark Caves of The Mind

Alutila Cave has a natural subway - like shape with cold water flowing through the bottom. The cave depicts a gloomy and drowsy atmosphere inside with pin-drop silence, sure to mess with one's ears and to be terrified. This mysteriously shaped subway is so dark that torches or locally sold flambeaux are used to see well enough to walk through the cave. Alutila cave is the favorite habitat of many species of insects and bats.
