Who doesn't know them, the old embroidered pictures of our grandparents? They hung in the kitchens or living rooms. What was still a big hit in the 1950s is slowly ending up in the dump. The German artist Philipp Eggersglueß helps the pictures to blossom again. He embroidered appropriate pop art into the motifs and thus gave them an unexpected new reference. So far, he has edited over 100 images. Here are some of them.
