The 2026 midterm elections swept through the United States with unexpected results. People hoped for a blue wave, but what they’ve got instead was a blue tsunami. The Democratic Party won clear majorities in both the Senate and the House of Representatives, with 54 and 253 seats, respectively.
People celebrated that Texas turned blue for the first time since 1988 and that the current administration might finally be held accountable for some of their questionable policies.
But not everyone was happy with these results: many right-wing voters were dejected, disappointed and heartbroken. Others had proper meltdowns, many of which were hilariously funny.
