I'm Sirithil, a 25-years-old photo model. I didn't know I was about to become a model or work with all those brilliant artists that I met doing it. I was the "ugly girl" at school, with no friends and no romance. But well, I had this crazy idea one day and I thought: "What if I looked better in a picture?" And the art of pose actually helped me to accept myself and do proper art, by not just "staying and being pretty".
After 7 years of modeling, I got tired of people who think a model is always a silly girl who loves herself. So I decided to write a book about how I came to be a model, but mostly how anyone, how YOU can be a model too if you wish. With my philosophy studies, I aim to analyze our relationship with body, image and identity during our "internet era". I want to say "Yes, you are able to do it, and yes, you have a RIGHT for trying it". And no one should ever, ever blame you for this, exactly like no one should blame you for wearing skirts.
