Farrokh Bulsara, born on September 5th, 1946 in the British protectorate of Zanzibar, had no idea that later in his life he will become a famous singer named Freddie Mercury. Though there were always hints of his musical capabilities, nobody seriously considered music as a career for him. Freddie has even majored in graphic design, before releasing The Queens first studio album. After that, he has gained worldwide fame for his flamboyant stage presence and immense vocal talent.
Since his death in 1991, there have been quite a few debates about Mercury. For example, whether or not Freddie's vocal range spanned four full octaves.
