Love At First Bite: 18 Food Pun Valentine’s Cards

I've always loved silly dad jokes and wordplay; even as a child, I used to do a lot of word-based puzzles and was a bit of a nerd. I've been writing content online for 15+ years now, first as a freelancer, then started building my own websites.

About a year ago, I saw a couple of punny greeting cards in a local store that made me giggle, and it gave me an idea to start a new blog where I can collect all the best puns, which I decided to name FoodieGiggles. I find food the easiest to make jokes around because it's such a staple in our lives! I mean, you don't see an elephant every day, but you probably walk by a pizza place pretty often even if you don't eat it every day.

My favorite card from the whole collection is probably the one that says "Let's avo-cuddle" because my husband gifted me the cutest heatable avocado plush last year and we literally call her Ava Cuddle.

I use puns a lot in my own cards – I've written a bunch recently for Christmas, and I'm kinda known as a pun person in my close circle.

I'm actually in the process of making a big DIY Valentine's card for my husband, where I'll have actual candy bars as part of it – found this cool idea on Pinterest. It's handy that I already have these two sweet collections and don't need to research the puns for my hubby's card!
