Later, as she lay under her nursing cover, baby latched, head tucked in like a cozy little breastfeeding fort, one male flight attendant with zero tact tapped her leg to get her attention. Already a weird move, he repeated multiple times.
When our mom gestured she was busy, this dude proceeded to lift the cover up, not to hand her a napkin, but to ask if she wanted a meal. The audacity had altitude at this point.

After lifting her nursing cover without consent and exposing her while she was breastfeeding, the crew member casually asked if she wanted her meal — as though nothing was wrong. The poster said she was left stunned and humiliated, unable to process what had just occurred.
We asked if anyone on the flight might have witnessed the event. The poster noted that she was lying down in her business class seat, and due to the cabin’s layout, it’s uncertain whether other passengers could see. Regardless, no one commented or stepped in.
When asked how the crew responded after seeing her reaction, the poster explained that there was no acknowledgment of her discomfort. She declined the meal and hurried to cover herself again, but the attendant simply walked away, ignoring the distress he had caused.
This was the poster’s first time flying British Airways in business class, though she had flown business with Japan Airlines before. “I found both previous flights to be challenging as a mom traveling with an infant — not necessarily hostile, but cold and lacking any sensitivity. This flight with BA, however, crossed a line that I never imagined would be crossed,” she shared.
Since the flight, the poster has taken steps to raise awareness. After receiving a canned response to her complaint, she shared her story on Reddit.
