Art is happiness, art is life. And creating concepts that reflects my talents is what I am best at. This piece here is one of my first painting i did. The idea of this concept came from about when i was having thoughts about where i came from. And right there is when it hit me like a first impression. I did not really think much about the hard part about painting it because in my mind i had already put everything together. It's such a beautiful one at that. I wanted the painting to really have a strong cultural message behind it. So then I decided to mix it up with some an elephant silluette, the African continent and three lady's that symbolize the turkana tribe in Kenya. I wanted the balance to pop out more and it did. And of course I had to make sure it's a sunset landscape with a tree because that's what I enjoy painting the most. However, everything came out beautiful and I love it.
