Using vintage artwork, I have created a newly-minted universe filled with a menagerie of Victorian creature combinations from Lunasea Island.
I'm producing a Lunasea Island 2016 Calendar available at www.DarwinSurplus.com I hope you enjoy meeting these quirky beasts!

Figure 12 - Shrimpala

All of this splendor contained in a body no more than four inches long.
Figure 13 - Gazellephant

Not five feet from our camp, was a herd of graceful, playful creatures swimming, snorting, splashing, and singing.
Figure 15 - Llamadillo

The jointed and spotted shell of the beast was armored, and its hind legs were strong and stout.
Figure 16 - Butterflion

The tallest of them must have been five feet tall from paw to pate.
Figure 18 - Penguinea Pig

At the water's edge, using their taloned feet, they wrapped their marine morsels in sea weed.
Figure 19 - MamMoth

The beasts would take a lumbering start and remain aloft for almost a minute before landing and returning to graze.
