Drop whatever you're doing, we have a situation in here! A stay-at-home mother has posted a picture of the 'impossible to open' cupboard and she needs your tips to open it without destroying these precious porcelain plates.
'A cupboard that can never be opened,' - read the caption. Of course, you can never throw words like 'never' online because soon after posting, the army of kind-hearted internauts came pouring in (16,000 reactions and 456 comments) to help this lady with getting her plates to safety.
What would you do in this situation? Post your answers below!
Update: The photo was actually taken after an earthquake in the Tottori Prefecture on October 21st, in a hotel owned by the Kishida family.

Gently lower cupboard into pool. Wait till it fills up. Open doors. No mess no fuss.

Take the cupboard to space. There won't be gravity and hence pick the porcelain while they float.

The solution: pull the cupboard slowly forward, till it can tilt back. Do it slowly, and no harm no foul, the plates are slitting back safely, and the door is free to open.

It is so easy, I will open the cupboard for you, and it is going to be so cheap, and everybody knows I can do this, and MEXICO WILL PAY FOR THE WHOLE DAMN THING! Or just open the cupboard and grab the plates by the *****. That's what I would do. Best wishes, POTUS ejected

Empty the cupboard of everything but the plates. Ease the cupboard slowly and let the plates slide back onto the shelf. This is only if the plates are irreplaceable. If they can be replaced, open the door, let them fall and replace the ones that break.

I so badly want to help but i am also so badly wanting to see something smash... The two wants are breaking my brain...
But the truth it that ceramic breaks glass easier than anything else so a shift in any direction might smash the glass anyway... So using a glass cutter and paraffin cut the top paine and remove it... Gently lift the stack and replace the paine of glass with superglue... You should not see the cut...
