Drop whatever you're doing, we have a situation in here! A stay-at-home mother has posted a picture of the 'impossible to open' cupboard and she needs your tips to open it without destroying these precious porcelain plates.
'A cupboard that can never be opened,' - read the caption. Of course, you can never throw words like 'never' online because soon after posting, the army of kind-hearted internauts came pouring in (16,000 reactions and 456 comments) to help this lady with getting her plates to safety.
What would you do in this situation? Post your answers below!
Update: The photo was actually taken after an earthquake in the Tottori Prefecture on October 21st, in a hotel owned by the Kishida family.

Remember the question is never to break or destroy any porcelain plates.
So will just remove any of the upper section of cupboard glass pieces which supports the porcelain plates by not disturbing them. It's costs only 200rs. Problrm Solved😎

Remove the trim, then the glass, from the lower left-corner frame. Carefully remove dishes and set down one by one. Repair and refinish opened frame.

Hit the restart button and forget it ever happened.
Blanket it out of your mind and accept the cupboard now belongs to the universe of things that can't be changed.

Slide each deflated balloon and blew air inside then tied up and push end in then do again with next balloon until all full up. Then, open door a little enough for a hand to slide inside to lift bowls up.

Move it carefully to reveal the backside. If the furniture is not anything vintage ot expensive the backside is made out of cheap material nailed to the frame. Remove the backside and collect the goods. Easy! Trust me I am an engineer!

Answer from my 6 year old - and damnit it would work! Get a big plastic washbasin, fill with water and bubbles and place under the the door, so that the plates fall into the water when you open. Kids, go figure

Take a long pause, get a nice and log bed sheet and nail it into the botton of the Cupboard, open it gently and try to catch them as they fall in the sheet, remember to have the sheet stretch in a nice angle.

Get a plastic tub and full it up with a big fluffy blanket or towels or even like packing peanuts. Prop it below the cuboard and let it catch them as they fall.

Take out a glass pane then push the plates in place?

Okay, boring answer here, break the glass above the bowls, reach in and remove precious items. Glass is easy and cheap to replace, no sentimental value. Good luck!
