EX LUZ is part of the study and manipulation of form and light by the hand of Levêque, a French artist who has the particularity of being color blind. The kinetic sculpture is formed by an anamorphic wooden oval that rotates on its own axis, reflecting direct points of light in constant change. When rotated on an axis calculated according to a precise observation point, the reflection of the light reveals a perfectly circular vision in which the colors mix and helps Leveque experiment and better understand the tones and gradients of color. The angle, movement and shape of the object have been designed so that the surrounding materials express themselves with absolute clarity.
