Glorious beast, so gentle and strong.
My spirit is enraptured and enchanted by you.
Soul mates in another life, I see you, I feel you,
You are love incarnate.
I long to see you roam and graze, wild, elegant and free.
A matriarchy of Devine beauty and grace.
Calm and pure of heart, proud and humble of soul.
Eyes wise and knowing, containing the secrets of life everlasting.
You envelope me within your shadow.
Even you and your mighty form cannot contain my universe within.
My cocoon for a moment until I must stand alone.
I will protect you from now on as you've protected me all along.

Enveloped In You Too
The most beautiful sound: trumpeting to a vocalized squee.
Oh how I love to see an elephant in absolute glee.
Tails curled up into the air,
As they dance and play without a care.
Rolly polly in a muddy mineral bath,
Grey skin awash now covered in red.
Happy as a pig, they say.. Just wait until you see the elephants splash.
A sprinkling of dust, like a cinnamon crust.
How lovely you look in this shade.
Waterfalls and river currents cannot sway your form,
Yet it moves you as deeply as it is to witness an elephant bathe.
Someday I'll meet you out in your world,
I'll see you graze in the rain.
I'll bring my love to watch you with your loves.
Nature's benevolent matriarch, long may you reign.
