"Long ago, I had worked with logos and embroidered shirts, and the inspiration to create tattoos designs came afterwards," Lozano told Bored Panda. "I started my tattoo artist career in 2002, welding my mentor's needles. The biggest difficulty was finding quality materials. My mentor was my friend, Claudio Botta, and he has taught me all about body art and the machines behind it."
"I have always tried to do something different, to stand out from other artists, so I remembered working with embroidery and thought I could use it in my new career," he said. "I wasn't the first to start inking people with these unique tattoos, but I was the first one to make it so realistic, leaving "broken" strings (my signature) and other imperfections."
Lozano said there are no secrets to this cool tattoo technique. One just has to really understand light and shadow which are very important for creating a realistic design. "I'm just starting out with this style and my head is bubbling with new tattoo ideas!
His works have already earned Lozano global recognition. "I have received invitations to international conventions in Italy, Croatia, and Spain. I was also invited as a guest to various events in France, Germany, Colombia, Mexico, and other places. I have to prepare my passport!"
