15+ Parenting Comics: A Thin Line Between Sanity And Madness

Whether one has kids or not, parenting probably seems as a super heroic dedication for life. And it probably is. Can you imagine that parents are responsible not only for themselves but for their kids, too? Meaning that a parent is not allowed to be tired and thus sleep through all the day or to forget to cook a dinner, or to say anything similar to ‘f*** this, I’m out’ (which, let’s be honest, people who are not parents have this option and use it from time to time). And most importantly - a parent has to be PATIENT! When a kid cries for whatever reason that even a parent might not understand, when a kid constantly asks why (ok, this phase fades, but still!), when a kid gets dirty in 20 seconds after being changed, or just when a kid wakes you up at 6 a.m. and your biggest wish would be to sleep for at least a few more hours (or actually secretly wishing to sleep till noon)… So yes, for me (and I believe for some of you, too) parenthood seems heroic as hell! But I still strongly believe that parents are regular people and sometimes they really wish they could escape for a bit as there’s a thin line between sanity and madness. So here’s to all the parents and their sanity!
