Russian Illustrator Creates Heartfelt Comics To Portray A Mother's Daily Life (19 Comics)

Motherhood couldn't be more beautiful and romantic than on social media: babies sleeping peacefully in cute clothes, happy and well-rested mothers, birthday parties, and lots of hearts everywhere. That's what being a mother is, right? Yeah, just the opposite.

A lot of people fool themselves into thinking that motherhood is perfect and, when they realize it, they have a baby to raise. And it may not seem like it, but raising a baby is a hell of a job! They cry, suckle, and diaper whenever they want and mothers and fathers have to be ready to solve everything in the blink of an eye.

Lucky for us, a Russian illustrator is showing that not everything is "pink" when raising a child. The 30-year-old illustrator named Julia who is known on her social media as "Julcheck" is one of those moms who isn't afraid to share with a lot of humor her daily experiences as a mother of little Felix on her instagram. The comics created by her will make any mother identify and remember that motherhood has a much less glamorous side than what they tell out there.
