First of all i like Frankenstein more. But Dracula's drawing is better.
So the inspiration behind the Frankenstein poster painting was, the guitar of Kirk Hammett (Metallica's Lead Guitarist). When i saw the guitar for the first time, i was blown away by the beauty of the artwork. So i found the poster and, i felt the desire to recreate it but, there was a little problem. I don't like to paint or draw with colors. And i get frustrated for a while because i suck with colors. But, then i said to myself "I'll do it little by little, piеce by piece " then i took my watercolors, brushes, pencils, cut the paper and start drawing. And with two night drawing/painting sessions i compleated it. I'm not very hapy by the final result.
And, the story behind Dracula's portrait is not very different. I searched for Dracula posters and i saw the portrait of Bela Lugosi. I got impressed by his really strong presence so impressed that i ended up drawing it. I really like how this one turns out it's my favorite drawing.
