I understand that everyone is struggling with the economy. That also includes the dashers. Dashers put wear and tear in their personal vehicles, requiring frequent maintenance, not to mention the cost of gas. We are going somewhere that you don't want to go, for you. A tip should be just common courtesy. I have noticed that Every time, I get a deliver pizza, I get a great tip. There should be a larger difference, since we don't work for the restaurants and technically we don't really work for Door Dash. If I am not at least getting $1 a mile, I will not accept the order. The cost of gas and oil changes, etc....cuts into my actual income.
