A few months ago we showed here in the Bored Panda a heroic act coming from a lovely 6 month old Golden Retriever with the name of Todd. He saved his owner Paula Godwin from a rattlesnake attack, jumping in front. At the time Todd got very ill, but miraculously he recovered.
His story became viral and Todd became very famous. Now he was rewarded for his grandiose heroic gesture. He was awarded the Best Dog of the Year award at the 8th edition of Streamy Awards.
The creator of the Streamy Awards commented during the awards- "The world would not be the same without dogs, many lives are sometimes transformed thanks to them and it's time to honor all the joy they give us!"
