did you ever wonder if fish ever sleep? Contrary to common sense, the ocean is quite busy as the sun sets and those who hide by day come out and play by night. Sharing a favorite hobby of mine where I enter the ocean at it's darkest revealing creatures showcasing crypsis moments.

nudibranches are sea slugs which come alive by night
bumblebee shrimps get busy as their predators dream
Porcelain crabs usualy hide under Anemone by day but get a lot more gregarious by nightfall
Brooding behavior happens at night, usually, the dad aerates younglings
a newly hatched Flamboyant cuttlefish with finger as size reference
Juvenile batfish roam the reef as the sun sets
rays graze the seabed and are more self assured by night
mantas feed on plankton which move up the seabed from boats lights
