Are you implying that sending teens to terrible facilities that abuse them is a bad thing? Or was it the inappropriate relationship he had with a patient? Or his first wife alleging physical abuse? For me it's the exploiting people in their most vulnerable states for tv ratings and feeding their addiction for better content.

Both adult men were in relationships with very young girls. Both got them pregnant before they turned 16. It was a primitive “practice” that wasn’t always frowned upon back in the day.
But in the age of #MeToo and modern times, there are somehow still grown ass men who are not only “dating" minors. They're marrying them too. It might sound sick. And it is. But in many countries and some U.S. states, it’s actually legal. Countless organizations are working to end child marriage.

And was only outlawed in Washington, Virginia and New Hampshire this year. Men are still allowed to marry minors in 37 states. Almost 300 thousand young girls got married between 2000 and 2018. Some were as young as 10. Most married adult men. Those are some sick statistics from Unchained At Last. An organization working to end child marriages.
Unchained partnered with Quest Research & Investigations, Kroll, Quantitative Analysis, and McGill University to investigate how many child brides there are in America. The researchers got hold of marriage-certificate data from various U.S. states. And checked the ages of everyone that tied the knot between 2000 and 2018. They published this study in the Journal Of Adolescent Health. And revealed some disturbing facts that many might not even be aware of.

Nevada tops the list with 17,403 girls married as minors between 2000 and 2018. The researchers said “Minors—even highly mature 17-year-olds—have limited legal rights and therefore can easily be forced into marriage or forced to stay in an unwanted marriage.” They added that the impacts were devastating.
“Girls in the U.S. who marry in their teens are more likely to drop out of high school, never graduate from college, and end up living in poverty, and they are at greater risk of psychiatric disorders,” noted the study.

Unchained At Last says child marriage is like giving predators a “get out of jail free card”. Most states have laws against statutory rape. But in many cases, sex with a minor becomes legal within marriage. The organization said, “At least 34,943–40,224 marriages since 2000 occurred at an age or with a spousal age difference that should have constituted a sex crime under the relevant state's law.” In about 80% of those marriages, sex between the parties became legal once a marriage license was issued.
