Ben Robins is a 29-year-old digital artist from Bristol, UK, whose photo editing mastery captivates for its unusual and creative ideas. Even though he works as a wedding, live events and design photographer with experience covering events around the world, he fell in love with the bizarre potential of photo manipulation in 2008. Since then, he has explored its wide possibilities and created various cool artworks.
His unique art crosses boundaries between dreams and reality, humor and fear, exploring life and death, and mainly focusing on mortality and the vulnerability of the human body. Ben has spent the last 6 years living in South Korea and now he's on his way back to England to start his own photography venture!
"I’ve been experimenting with photography and editing since I first discovered light-trails and other technical photography; for me, digital manipulation is the same process - you plan out the photos in advance and always end up with something slightly different than you intended, usually for the better. I like surrealism that makes you stop for a moment to work out, and will sometimes just sit in a room and look at stuff to see if I can use it in a photo" - the artist told Bored Panda.
