Hello, I'm Derek Pedros film director and photographer specialized in dance and movement.
I'm from the Canary Islands, but I live between the islands and Madrid.
Throughout this years I have lived and worked in Barcelona, Berlin, Valencia, Vancouver, Miami and the Caribbean, places where I developed projects with dancers from companies such as Akran Khan (London), Kidd Pivot (Canada), Lava (Spain), Iron Skulls (Spain), Daniel Abreu (Spain), Ballet BC (Canada), and many more.
I try to develop images where the movement is a connection between the narrative, the mental state and the spaces itself. Looking to create a visual extension of the inner world of the dancers.
