"Dead Russian Celebrities" Or How I Made My Postcards

Hello, my name is Sasha, I'm from St. Petersburg, Russia and I love art.

Since childhood, I've loved drawing all sorts of doodles in my notebooks and dreamed of learning to draw well.

But instead of art school my parents insisted that I would be engaged in ballroom dancing, which I really did not like.

When I grew up I did not leave my love for drawing.

I like to work my hands, and found my self in Linogravure and Woodblock printing.

This is one of the oldest methods of replicating printing ...

I love tattoos ,sometimes I make tattoos to my friends and acquaintances..

I do not consider myself an artist and I do not have an art education, but I love what I do.

Also I like some Russian historical figures, many of them are also familiar abroad and I decided to make a series of postcards with my drawings.

Art has no frames and my postcard designs are quite subjective, due to their unusualness, but one hundred percent authentic, because the uniqueness of art in any of its manifestations on my opinion is in its simplicity.

In many of my works and postcards in particular, the influence of a traditional tattoo is traced, that in my opinion gives them even greater beauty ....

I draw almost every day, and I try to improve in this and grow above myself.
