Baby Jack suffered from craniosynostosis, a condition where an infant skull prematurely fuses by turning into bone, changing its growth pattern. One in 2000 children are born with craniosynostosis; if left untreated, the affected child can suffer from various impairments. Yesterday was Jack's birthday and also last day wearing his helmet.
